1. Who you are working with
Rynlo Studio is operated by James, an independent website designer based in Dublin, Ireland. Contact: rynlostudios@gmail.com.
These terms explain how website design, website updates and email marketing projects work. Your written project agreement sets out the specific deliverables, price, timetable and payment arrangements. You receive the relevant terms before accepting a project.
Sending an enquiry does not place an order, create a paid contract or sign you up for marketing. A project begins only after we both agree its scope and terms in writing. Simply browsing this website does not mean you have accepted a service contract.
2. Prices and payments
The advertised €250 introductory package covers a one-page website with up to five sections, supplied content, mobile and desktop layouts, contact and existing booking links, two revision rounds, domain connection and handover.
Before you commit, your quote will state the total payable, any applicable taxes, payment dates and any deposit. There is no automatic deposit requirement or recurring subscription from making an enquiry.
Domain registration and renewals, hosting, paid software, email platforms, ecommerce and custom booking systems are separate unless expressly included. Their costs and who pays them will be explained before approval. Additional work or charges require your agreement first.
3. Content, timing and revisions
Please supply accurate text, images, prices and other agreed content, and ensure you have permission to use those materials. Give feedback in the format and timeframe agreed for the project.
Two revision rounds are included in the introductory website package. Each round means one consolidated set of requested changes within the agreed scope. New pages, functionality or a substantial change of direction will be quoted separately before work proceeds. Correcting faults in our work is not treated as a paid revision.
We agree a delivery timetable before starting. If missing content, feedback or another issue affects it, we will explain the impact and agree an updated plan. We will not launch a site or send an email campaign without your approval.
4. Ownership and handover
You retain ownership of materials you supply. Once the agreed payment is complete, you receive the finished website files and ownership of original work created specifically for you, as identified in your project agreement.
Third-party fonts, images, software and pre-existing components remain subject to their own licences. Any restrictions or ongoing costs will be identified before you agree to use them. Your domain, hosting and marketing accounts should be held in your name, with any access needed for our work agreed separately.
We will ask permission before displaying your project or identifying your business in our portfolio.
5. Support and service quality
The introductory package includes 14 days of post-launch fixes for faults in our work. This is an additional support promise, not a deadline for reporting legal claims or a limit on your statutory rights.
Content updates, new features and ongoing maintenance are separately agreed. We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Search rankings, sales, email opens and enquiry volumes cannot be guaranteed.
Hosting and other third-party services have their own terms and availability. We will explain relevant dependencies and help investigate issues within our agreed scope. This does not remove our responsibility for our own work.
6. Cancelling or pausing a project
Email us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or pause. Your project agreement will explain the cancellation arrangements before you commit. For business projects, any payment for work already completed or approved third-party costs must follow that agreement. We do not impose an automatic “all payments are non-refundable” rule.
If we cannot complete the agreed work, we will discuss a suitable remedy and refund payments for work not supplied, subject to any additional rights you have.
If you are buying as a consumer
A consumer buys mainly for personal purposes outside their trade or profession. Business purchases are generally treated differently.
Consumers generally have 14 days to cancel a service agreed online or by phone without giving a reason. Other statutory periods or exceptions may apply. We will provide the cancellation information relevant to your contract before you agree.
We will not begin within a statutory cancellation period unless you expressly request it. Where the law permits, cancelling after that request may require a proportionate payment for services already supplied. Any loss of cancellation rights on full performance requires the legally required advance consent and acknowledgement; an enquiry does not provide either.
To cancel, email your name, the project or order reference and a clear statement that you wish to cancel to rynlostudios@gmail.com. No special wording is required. Refunds due under a statutory withdrawal right will be made within the legal deadline, generally 14 days after notification, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
6a. Introductory website refund guarantee
This additional satisfaction guarantee applies to the advertised €250 introductory one-page website package booked while this offer is displayed. It covers the website design fee only, not email marketing, ongoing maintenance or other separately quoted services. It remains part of your agreed package even if the offer is later removed from this website.
- Review and revise. Review your private website preview and provide feedback through the two included revision rounds within the agreed scope.
- Request before launch approval. If you are still unhappy after those revisions, email rynlostudios@gmail.com with your name, business or project reference, and a request to cancel under this guarantee. Send the request before you approve the website for launch. We will not treat silence as approval.
- Receive your design-fee refund. We will return the full website design fee you have paid, including any design deposit, within 14 calendar days of receiving an eligible request. Any unpaid balance of that design fee is cancelled. We use the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, with no refund administration fee.
- Close the project. The refunded design will not be launched or handed over for use. Your supplied text, images, existing website, domain and other accounts remain yours. We will close the preview and return any access we hold.
Excluded costs: separately approved and already purchased domain registrations, hosting and third-party services are outside this design-fee guarantee. We identify those costs before you agree to them. Any refund rights you have for those services still apply.
This voluntary guarantee ends when you approve launch. Your statutory cancellation rights and rights relating to faulty or undelivered work are unaffected and do not require you to complete two revision rounds. Where this guarantee applies, it takes priority over any general cancellation charge for the website design work.
7. Email marketing and personal data
Campaigns use your authorised subscriber audience. You must have a lawful basis for supplying and using contact details. We do not supply purchased mailing lists. You approve the content, audience and schedule before sending.
Where we handle subscriber data on your behalf, we will agree the necessary data-processing terms before access is provided. Enquiry information is covered by the privacy notice.
8. Questions, complaints and your rights
If something is wrong, email James at rynlostudios@gmail.com with the project details and the outcome you are looking for. We will discuss the issue and the next steps with you.
For consumers, remedies for services that do not meet legal requirements may include correction, a price reduction or termination and a refund, depending on the circumstances. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Irish law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or court rights that apply in their country of residence. Changes to this page apply to future agreements; existing projects keep the terms agreed unless both parties agree a lawful change.
9. Demonstration work
The café, barbershop and email campaigns shown on this site are fictional design examples. They are not client endorsements or evidence of campaign results. Demo booking buttons do not take real appointments.
